Wallyball is a fast, dynamic and exciting sport that is played by both male and female sexes as well as a wide range of ages. Also known as 'rebound volleyball', it is a close relative of volleyball, and shares many rules, techniques, plays and features.

However there are some fundamental differences, the main one being that players are allowed to utilize the walls and ricochet the ball off there. This makes it a particularly fast paced sport and one that demands a great level of fitness and hand/eye coordination.

Price: $40 per 2-hour rental of racquetball room


Pickleball is an exciting game that is a cross between tennis, badminton and ping-pong. With an estimated 2.5 million players, it is the fastest growing sport in the country, according to the USA Pickleball Association.  It is played both indoors and outdoors, by young and old alike, and is a wonderful sport for the whole family.

Women's Volleyball League

This is a great opportunity for women to come out and show their volleyball skills. Each team can have up to seven players. Each team must have a minimum of four players to play their game. If less than four show up, the game will be forfeited. Every game will be played at the YMCA of Parkersburg. The league will last for seven weeks.  Dates and times will be announced as the registration nears. Please check our Facebook page or online calendar for further details.

• Four players must be present for each team to play

• Each team member must sign in before playing

• Players can only be on one roster

• An updated final roster must be made before the tournament

• Payment due in full upon registration - $235 fee

Muay Thai

Muay Thai, or Thai Boxing, is the national sport and cultural martial art of Thailand and combines punches, kicks, knees, and elbow strikes, defensive techniques, partner drills, strength training, and padwork.  It was developed several hundreds of years ago as a form of close-combat.

WHEN:  July 21—August 30

Sundays: 4:00 - 5:30 pm
Thursdays: 6:00-7:30 pm

COST: $40 members $50 future members

Tai Chi

An art embracing the mind, body and spirit, ai chi is one of the most effective exercises that incorporates mindfulness and meditation. Tai includes slow, gentle movements while focusing on the breath. This class will focus on the mechanics of 24 form and will provide the framework and tools to start you on your own personal Tai Chi journey.

Tai Chi with Randall - About the instructor:  Randall has been a practitioner of 24 form yang-style Tai Chi for more than 20 years.  

WHEN:  Beginning August 19

Monday and Tuesday Nights  from 8:00- 9:00 pm.
