December Staff of the Month - David Miller

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself: what are some fun facts about you?

I was a ham radio operator! I retired 3 times! I can’t seem to stay retired. I love the outdoors!

2. What do you do at the YMCA of Parkersburg? Tell us a little bit about it.

I am a custodian. I have the job of keeping the building both clean and safe. I love the fact that I get to move all over the building and meeting both staff and members in different areas.

3. When and why did you start working the YMCA?

I started working at the YMCA in February of 2022. I started working again because I was bored with nothing to do. Of course the extra money is nice too.

4. What is your favorite part of working at the YMCA of Parkersburg? Or what are you most looking forward to?

I think my favorite part is the staff, almost seems as if it one big family!
