AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM
Details
The YMCA of Parkersburg’s After-School Program provides a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for Elementary students (Pre-K through 5th grade). Care is available after school until 6:00 PM at convenient school sites throughout Wood County.
We also offer Out-of-School Care at the YMCA on most school holidays and snow days, ensuring your child has a safe and enriching place to be when school is out.
Cost
ATTENDANCE-BASED WEEKLY RATES:
Families will be charged the 1–2 day rate when a child attends one or two days in a week and the 3–5 day rate when a child attends three or more days. All out-of-school days, including Pre-K Fridays are included at no additional cost. Registration fee is $30 per child.

Important: If you receive a childcare subsidy, please bring your certificate of subsidy.
Complete the paper registration form and return it to the Family Services Desk at the YMCA of Parkersburg to secure your child’s spot at any time.

Non-Wood County Students: Students from outside the Wood County Public School System are welcome to attend the YMCA’s After-School and Out-of-School Care programs.
Please note: Transportation to and from the YMCA will not be provided.

The YMCA of Parkersburg provides child care on the following days when Wood County Schools are closed. Care is available from 6:30AM to 6:00PM.

The YMCA of Parkersburg offers child care when Wood County Schools Pre-K is closed, including Fridays and days when Pre-K is closed by Wood County grade schools remain open. Care is available from 6:30AM to 6:00PM.

Our Early Learning program serves children ages 2 to 4. Care is provided from 6:30 am - 6:00 pm each weekday.
When picking up or dropping off your child, please enter through the Administrative Entrance, which is located in the front of the building.
Cost

WEEKLY COST
Y Members*: $130 per child
Non-Members: $160 per child
Financial assistance is available for those who qualify. CHOICES is accepted.
A valid credit card or banking account must be provided at the time of registration.

KIDS ZONE
Details
Kids Zone is FREE with your YMCA membership, when you purchase a day pass or if you are signed up for a program. Children ages newborn to 12 years old are eligible for the program. A parent/guardian must remain at the YMCA of Parkersburg while their child is in Kids Zone.
