People Helping People Scholarship Application
The YMCA of Parkersburg believes in providing membership and program services to all who desire to participate. The Y’s Scholarship Program, supported in part through contributions to the Annual Campaign, provides membership and program scholarships to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to be healthy, confident, connected and secure.
The YMCA welcomes all who wish to participate and believes that no one should be denied access to the Y based on their ability to pay. Through our People Helping People Scholarship Program, the YMCA of Parkersburg provides assistance to youth, adults and families based on individual needs and circumstances.
Determining assistance amounts is handled by YMCA branches in a fair and consistent manner. Every YMCA member receives the same membership benefits, regardless of whether or not they receive a scholarship. YMCA members can feel confident knowing that they are a part of an organization that cares greatly for the well-being of all people, and is committed to youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
CORPORATE MEMBERSHIPS
Try the Y Period
Employers can schedule up to three trial membership periods per calendar year. Employees are asked to bring a work badge or paycheck stub with your company name on it and a valid driver’s license or state ID to gain access to the facility.
