What is your role at the YMCA? 

I am the Program Director here at the Y.

Tell us a little about your Y-story. What made you want to come work at the YMCA? 

Four years ago I decided that I wanted to come work for the YMCA because I spent a lot of time here as a kid and I was looking for something part-time while I was in school. I started off as a front desk worker and worked my way up.

How has the YMCA impacted your life? 

I have made some really good friends through work.

What do you think the community needs to know about the YMCA of Parkersburg?

The YMCA has something here for almost everyone.

How have you witnessed the YMCA mission in action?

YMCA Mission: To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. 

The members we have here are very friendly and always ready to lend a hand for staff and/or other members.

What is something you are proud of from the last year?

There are too many things to list, I am proud of something every day.
