Summer is only 8 weeks away! To help you plan, the YMCA of Parkersburg is excited to share ‘The YMCA Summer Preview’ on Saturday May 20th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm to promote their summer activities. 

At this interactive event, families and individuals will be able to experience a sneak peek of all of the programs the YMCA will be offering this summer. Highlighted programs will include the Y’s summer day camp “Camp Navigator”, Junior Navigator, Mud Run, Volleyball training, Rock Steady Boxing, Tae Kwon Do, free Fitness in the Park, Swim Lesson and Swim Team, and more. Each different program will allow visitors to get a sneak peak such as trying two Mud Run obstacles, Tae Kwon Do kicks, and introducing kids to the pool. 

Visitors will be able to explore summer childcare options: Junior Navigator (age 4), Camp Navigator (ages 5-12). Summer childcare will be offered Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 

YMCA Summer Preview is a free community summer kick-off event. There will be free popcorn and refreshments for our visitors and the Kona Ice Truck will be in attendance.
