An Olympic Champion sends a love letter to amateur athletics by sharing 12 life lessons learned on her journey. Join us on Wednesday September 11th for a book reading and signing with author and former Olympian, Betsy Mitchell.

Betsy Mitchell is an educational leader and is Caltech’s Director of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation. Betsy is a two time Olympic swimmer with gold and silver medals in 1984 and 1988. She is also a former World and American record holder in backstroke events. She will tell you that her favorite accomplishments are those from her college years, when she contributed to 4 consecutive NCAA team championships at Texas, and she was a 7 time NCAA individual champion, with even more relay titles.
