The Parkersburg YMCA’s comprehensive Lifeguard Training course includes accident prevention, lifeguarding techniques, emergency systems, and rescue skills. Course will also include CPR for the Professional Rescuer with AED, Emergency Oxygen Administration and First Aid.

Participants must be a minimum age of 15 by the last day of the scheduled course and attend all scheduled class dates and times, demonstrate proficient land and water skills, and pass the written exam with a score of least 80%.

Certification Dates:

May 15th, 23rd - 24th
Payment & Pre-Test: May 15th • 7 pm - 8 pm
Class 1: May 23rd • 8 am - 4 pm
Class 2: May 24th • 10 am - 6 pm

Y Members: $200
Non-Members: $250
